Where is the closest airport?

Newport Marina is located just a short 30 minute drive away from Brisbane Domestic and International Airports.

Do I have to make a deposit when I book?

A deposit is only required if we are close to full capacity and are holding a berth for you (e.g. if you will be docking in a month but would like to secure a spot now). In most circumstances, no deposit is required.

 

What is the minimum stay time?

There is no minimum stay time at Newport Marina. We will be delighted to have you as a permanent resident, or even for an overnight stay.

 

What is the cancellation policy, and is there a fee?

If you cancel a booking prior to payment there is no fee. However, if you have paid for an agreed period and leave beforehand we do not offer any refunds for the remaining days. We’d hate to see you leave early, but understand that circumstances change. Please let us know as soon as you can about your early departure and we will ensure that it’s hassle-free

 

Can I stay for longer than the initial booking?

Absolutely! We would love to have you stick around. Head into the office or give us a call to extend your stay.

 

Where is the closest hire car company?

The closest hire car company is Thrifty Car & Truck Rental, Redcliffe. It is approximately a 6 minute taxi ride or 12 minute bus ride from our marina.

 

What public transport is available in the Moreton Bay area?

We have a bus system, train line, taxi service and Uber. For more information and timetables for these services, please head to our office.
