Newport Marina is located just a short 30 minute drive away from Brisbane Domestic and International Airports.

Do I have to make a deposit when I book?

A deposit is only required if we are close to full capacity and are holding a berth for you (e.g. if you will be docking in a month but would like to secure a spot now). In most circumstances, no deposit is required.

 

What is the minimum stay time?

There is no minimum stay time at Newport Marina. We will be delighted to have you as an ongoing berthing guest, or even for an overnight stay.

 

What is the cancellation policy, and is there a fee?

If you cancel a booking prior to payment there is no fee. However, if you have paid for an agreed period and leave beforehand we do not offer any refunds for the remaining days. We’d hate to see you leave early, but understand that circumstances change. Please let us know as soon as you can about your early departure and we will ensure that it’s hassle-free

 

Can I stay for longer than the initial booking?

Absolutely! We would love to have you stick around. Head into the office or give us a call to extend your stay.

 

What public transport is available in the Moreton Bay area?

We have a bus system, train line, taxi service and Uber. For more information and timetables for these services, please search online.

 

What is there to do in the local area?

Locally, in the canal system there are restaurants, an IGA and Dolphins Leagues Club all accessible by dinghy; there is a local sailing club (Moreton Bay Boat Club) which has a restaurant; whale watching (Winter months); a trip to Bribie Island (1 hour at 10 knots) or Moreton Island (2 hours at 10 knots).

Is there fuel available?

Newport Marina does not have a fuel dock. Please visit Scarborough Marina, just a shot trip away for diesel and unleaded fuel as well as haul out facilities.

 

Do you offer trailer and caravan storage at the marina? 

Newport Marina has a large parking area where we offer a place to park your trailer or caravan. You can park it weekly or monthly for a reasonable price. The area is under constant camera surveillance. We also offer short term shed hire at reasonable rates.
